Fun at the Farm!!!
We love spending time on the farm near Oriska, ND. Dennis' mom grew up there and now his Aunt & Uncle and Cousins farm the land. It's a wonderfully relaxing place to go, with lots of fun things to see and do!
All of the kids had a lot of opportunity to mow the lawn. It was great fun and gave them good experience driving small vehicles.
We were so thrilled that Dennis' cousin Mike Brekke, his wife Jean, and kids Sam & Kendra, could come up to Valley City while we were there. It was great catching up with them and letting the second cousins get to know each other.

Nana is 96 years young. We visited her several times in the nursing home. All the kids played the piano for her during one visit. Nana was her church's pianist/organist for over 50 years.
We spent one afternoon with Brekke's and Utke's at the Valley City Pool.

Mike & Jean live in the Twin Cities area, and David & Kim live in Valley City, near Ginny.
David is working on his doctorate and Kim owns and operates her own jewelry store, Kyly Creations, in downtown Valley. She hand makes all her jewelry. Beautiful!
Aunt Kathy, or Grandma, as Claire calls her, enjoys spending time with Claire!

Claire got some "lovely" teeth out of the vending machine at Pizza Corner.

Claire couldn't wait to have her cousins (second cousins) come for a visit. The kids all had fun playing together during our time there.
Family is a precious gift! We are so thankful for our time on the farm.
