New Clothes, Same Old Lies

Last night the 5th through 8th graders here at AVA preformed a wonderful adaptation to the Emperor's New Clothes. It was the Emperor's story with a Christian twist. It showed each of us that we are completely unprepared for the Wedding Feast of our Lord unless we humble ourselves, put away our pride, and accept that Jesus is the only one who can give us the clothes we need for His Wedding Feast.

Here is Emperor Nathanael getting the many credentials from the Royal Tailor Sligh.

The Bardess of Bungle, Elisabeth, writes down all the details she has been told about the new "clothes" so that she can remember them.

The Emperor has a fitting for his new vest.

The Bardess of Bungle and Lady Vogue argue with Logofile about whether the Emperor's new clothes can really be seen or not.

Tailor Goodnews shares the Good News about Salvation to the Emperor and his Court.

The kids all did a fabulous job during their performance. They had a great time and everyone who attended the performance was entertained and heard the message of the Good News of Salvation.
